Preset coding and maker issue

So, I wanted to make a preset (costume/contest) for this halloween. Everything was going fine. I had made the eyes, face/head, body and it all worked. When I made the tail, I went to test it out.

I opened the preset maker and found:

preset1
preset2
preset4

I really have no clue xD

And as you can guess, it was the preset three file I had the preset in.

If you want the material file, ask and I can link you the file.

So, thanks for your help if you know how to fix this.

Weird I don't know exactly why the Preset 3 option would be suddenly missing from the preset maker but did you make sure that the preset 3 folder wasn't misplaced while you were messing around with your preset? Check that your preset 3 folder is still inside the "My_Presets" folder. In the meantime since I know the deadline for the contest is today maybe what you could do is load the preset 3 files into another one of your empty preset folders and rename them just to match the new folder and try to see if they are in your preset maker then.

Dude..that exact same thing happened to me o-o And every time I moved the files to another folder, that preset number would disappear from preset maker.
I had no idea how to fix it, so I just reinstalled Fh which did work.
That's all I can suggest, sorry >3< But lemme know if you find out how to fix it.

If the files weren't misplaced, then it's probably the material file.

Read through it carefully and compare it to other .mat files if needed.
Even the smallest mistake could have done this. xD Like an extra/missing letter.

But yarr.. if this doesn't work, just do what Sura said and move the files into a different folder. xD

You can also try going to the main FH folder opening up the file called resources in notepad and checking if you see all the presets on there. If not make sure to fill it in and sorry I tried to send this sooner but the server crashed just as I was modifying my post. Hope you manage to get it fixed. Goodluck

If you moved the files from one folder to another, this might have to do with the lines in the material file. You see how there's the first line for every body part? Such as material preset_1_bodyL. Try changing that for the number of the preset you need. Chances are they've not been edited if you pasted the code from someplace else too.

Okay, to update:

I did compare them to other files. They were the same. Letter by letter, but I will check that again.

I had someone (Actually, 2 people) give me another code which was making the preset transparent from 2 sides. It looked...Awkward...

Everytime I move it to another file, I edit the material, because I know it will not work if I don't anyways. xD. (I have been doing this preset thing for a long time. xD Not really high quality, but anyways LOL)

The folder was also not missplaced because I have done this with other folders, and I got the same result.


Anyways, I might just keep it that way, because I would like SOME preset to have or something
