Patch Help!

I realised that I didn't have the latest patch for my game when I was on acension island, and there was no portal when I reached the top. So, I downloaded the new patch. It worked fine, but when I clicked run when it was finished, this came up.

"An error occured while trying to rename a file in the directory:
MoveFile failed; code 183
Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file(not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."

I have no idea what this means.. could anyone help me on this?

Try uninstalling the game completely (delete the entire FH folder- and make sure to back up any maps or presets!), then redownload and try again. Oddly, I've also found that just restarting my computer fixes some problems. Good luck!

Wait, I aborted it, tried it a second time, and it worked! But.. now I have a new problem. The portal was there and all, so the update worked fine. But for some reason, the items I had don't even show up in game? When I checked my media>items folder, they were still there. :S Now what do I do?

You probably have to put the item codes back in to the Items.cgf. I think that's what it's called.~

Or just try reinstalling the items you have. The update may have updated you items.cgf folder as well, cleaning it out.

I'm not sure how to re-install them.. do I delete all the items in my folder? I know that there was one already there(christmas hat).

Just go to the download and redownload the items, when asked to replace anything while moving it to the correct folders click yes.
