Map Maker~Exporting problems

So, to start this off, I have searched all over for how to export a FH map. The problem is, none of these tutorials are for someone using a Mac. Which, is a little annoying. So I tried to do it myself. I created my map, saved it, hit export, and it seems to export fine. No error messages or anything, but when I go to my FH folder, and then Exports folder, there is nothing to be found but a 'Read Me'. So I looked through the entire folder without any luck, then searched the rest of my computer, as well as trying to export again, multiple times.
Any idea on why this might be happening?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well are you trying to give it to other people or just use it for yourself? If you are just using it for yourself you can just save it and it will be in the game in the Cape of distant worlds.

I am trying to export it to share it with a friend. The files just don't appear in the exports folder.

I read through it, but I didn't see anything on why a file may not be showing up.... Did I miss something perhaps?

That didn't help either.... I'll try re-downloading the game. Maybe somethign just didn't get downloaded?

Ah ha! I got it fixed! For anyone else with this problem, I erased EVERYTHING having to do with FH from my laptop, redownloaded it, and sha-bam. It worked.
