Hmm you might have to wait for Thierry or Infredient or any other good map maker to help you out with that then since I only just started making maps recently and I'm not too experienced yet. I don't want to lead you the wrong way or confuse you more.
You could post your map file it might help us help you also ^_^ In the meantime make sure your image is only in one layer, make sure there is no alpha channel, and also be sure that you flattened your image. That's the most I can think of that wasn't already in Delay's link I believe.

I took the piece of my work from Terrain to show what I've done.



Oh ya. In the video, it said to add Terrain in the end and add a .png after Terrain.
