Wasn't sure if I should post this in ideas or not, but I'm expressing my opinion much more than giving suggestions, so I've posted it here. Hope that's okay!
Anyway, thank goodness for the sliders in the Preset customization menu! I love that we've got the ability to customize the smaller attributes of a canine/feline (noses, chins, foreheads etc), it really comes in handy when you're making a feline character like a Cheetah, or a canine character like a Fox...
My suggestion to improve this is to add a feature that will automatically give your character the correct anatomy of the species you want it to look like.
For example, if I wanted to make a Tiger, I'd click "Feline" then go to "Species" and select "Tiger" and that would automatically give my character the anatomy of a Tiger, but still lets me go back and move the sliders if I wanted my tiger to be bigger or thinner.
Now for something negative, something I actually know nothing about.
It's great that we can customize our own maps with GIMP and Photoshop, but editing a 2D map for a 3D environment often brings about a problem... You can't create caves unless you draw two different maps, one set outside and the other set inside, then place a portal connecting the two maps together. I know that's not a problem for some of you, but for me it just seems to break the realism of the game.
My suggestion would be to add a simple tool that lets you punch holes into the sides of a wall... Is that possible at all? If it's not, ignore me XD I just think it would be nice to be able to edit the walls of a level just as much as you can edit the floor.
Overall, I'm enjoying Feral Heart and think it has great potential
