Map using in a group

Hello
First of all, I am german and my english is realy bad I am sorry.
I made a map with the map maker and now I want to use it for a private rp group (not created yet), but I dont know how I can upload it on mediafire, make a passwort or give it to other people. Can you help me please?

I believe you must copy the exports of your map and put it into a .zip file, then upload it to mediafire. I haven't tried it yet, but I think that's how you do it. I'll search around and see if I can find anything to help.

I found Hugrf's solution.

Usually you put the exports, MP3's, certain custom stuff such as water and perhaps certain sky textures or ceiling textures all in a zip.
By doing this you right click, not on something, but just in an open space. Then go to New>Compressed (zip)
This makes it a .zip but I don't know how to make .rar files.
Then, upload the file to mediafire or sendspace. This should be easy and figured out quickly.

To share on mediafire.com you need to have an account, all you have to do is click the Sign Up button on the site. Then click Basic (free) as your plan type and then you can fill out the details for your account.

Once you have your account made then you can start uploading files.

Load your map in Map Maker and press Export.

After exporting all exported files will appear in your Exports folder, Feralheart>> Exports. Files include:

- .fhm, the map.
- .fho, object groups.
- .fhs and .fhw, custom sky and weather cycles (if used)

Find the ones that match the ones from your exported map and drag them all into a new folder on your desktop.

Once done that, you need to compress it, with some Windows you can Right-click>> Send to>> Compressed Zip Folder. Otherwise you can use a program like WinRar or 7-Zip to compress it.

Go to a file sharing site such as www.mediafire.com or www.zippyshare.com and upload your compressed folder. Then you just need to give the download link to your friends. All they need to do is un-pack the compressed folder and drag all the exported files to their Exports folder.

That is how to share a map with your rp group and friends. A private map is only for members with the download link. If you make a map public then that means everyone has access to the download link.
