Incorrect Username Ban from game... sigh

So about a month ago when I joined, I got the game and I kept typing my username wrong on my laptop. I was repeatedly off by one letter. But I only tried about 20 times, and it says 5 bad attempts=15 minute ban. So theoretically I'd only get an hour long ban. No... it says I'm banned from the game until May of next year!

I really don't want to wait it out, I've already waited it out for 2 months and it's driving me crazy. Someone help..
