I tried to download a mod...
« on: January 27, 2014, 09:46:28 pm »
So I tried to download Brokami's ENB or EMB whatever mod, and I didn't know where to put everything. So, naturally, I put it in the C: Feral-Heart folder. Where the normal stuff. Is. And now everytime I hit play for a character it crashes. What should I do?

Could you link me to this mod? I could possibly help you with this. Also, delete the mod you have just put in the FH folder, if you have replaced anything, try and retrieve it back before any further damage is caused~

First of all, open the ogre.cfg file in your FeralHeart folder using notepad, and make sure "FSAA" is set to 0. When it is, click save.

Also, when you open FeralHeart on the FeralHeart main menu, go to Options\Video\Rendering system and select Direct3D9 then relaunch the game~

Once you have done that, download the mods from here: http://puu.sh/6pNzH.zip then open up the folder and choose what mod you want (listed with images on the thread you linked me earlier) and place the mod you have chosen into your FeralHeart folder.

If you get a crash saying there's a missing dll like d3dx9_42.dll, you haven't downloaded this yet: http://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/download/details.aspx?id=35

And thank you very muh for that compliment ^^
