Kakali guide
« on: May 09, 2014, 06:42:18 pm »
Hello there fellow ferals! I was sitting in class and made up this 'species'. Well, anyone can make one!
If you make a kakali pack, be SURE to put this into your group bio 'Species made by TheApplePie'.

What is a kalaki?
A kakali is a cross between a Russian mountain sheep and a mexican wolf.
It is a normal wolf with sheep horns. They behave like sheep, fight using their horns + live in the mountains.
Although they are a cross between sheep and wolves, these creatures hunt mountain sheep themselves.

Looks:
Like I said before, they are realistic wolves with Russian mountain sheep horns.
Fur colours:
White, black, all shades of grey & brown.
Eye colours:
Yellow, gold, dark green + brown.
Manes?:
Side + Flame ONLY!
(You must have items downloaded for these to work!)Items:
Male: Ram horns
Female: Xarph Horns
----------------------------------------
[/b]Behavior/Habbitat/Diet/Extra info[/b]
Kakalis are often seen on mountain/cliff sides and valleys. They live in packs of 5-20 members and hunt together.
They have a few simple and easy-to-follow ranks.
Alpha male:
Beta male:
Omegas:
There are no alpha/beta females. The males can mate/breed with any female. He can only breed with 2 in each breeding season though. (The breeding season is in winter and it lasts for 2 weeks!)
Males will use their horns to fight, just like mountain sheep do. The will walk back and stop, then they will run to each other and bang their horns together.
Kakali females give birth to 1 pup every spring. The pup is an adult when he/she is 4 years old so they stay with their pack for a long time. Females can't leave their pups, so please don't say that your character has been left out by the pack, these animals don't do that! These wierd creatures live for only 10-13 years, so they will rarely change territories.
Kakalis can't see in the dark and they have a bad sence of hearing. They use a large range of yelps, howls and barks to get in contact with each other. They hunt using their sence of smell so the best time to hunt is a sunny day or clear night.
The kalaki species feast on small animals such as lemings, rats/mice, ferrets or even otters and sheep/goats. Yes, they eat them too!

If you want to create a kakali in game please follow these rules and be sure to make a realistic character. Neon coloured characters won't be counted as the species, but a failed attempt. I hope you found this interesting!

A very interestin' guide to yer Kakali species, Ms. T'was rather enjoyable to read. I may make a Kakali species myself sometime for the fun of it. Perhaps ye' should sit in class more often in order to sprout additional, and rather creative, ideas such as this. Thank ye' very much for sharin' the ram-dogs- or Kakali minus the nickname- with us!

I'm glad you like the idea.
Sitting in class because of being bored made me think about these. Maybe because we were learning about animal stuff and I had to choose a goat to reaserch? I don't know. Thanks for reading it!  :)

Also I can't download items/markings because when I did it broke my computer and when I downloaded them on my new computer, FH crashed immediately.
