They travel the world in search for adventure and almost always find it. They never stay in the same place for more than a few months at a time. Roaming from place to place, these wolves live within their own means, and occasionally will help out others they encounter.
This pack is in its early stages of formation and is at a vulnerable stage in its life. Chief Silas' current mission is to lead the few wolves he has in his pack to ready themselves for the upcoming winter while trying to recruit more wolves to join The Wayfarers' ranks.
About UsThe Wayfarers was formed May 21, 2014. We are a literate, semi-realistic, mapless, neutral, and ranked wolf role play group. Unlike many FH packs we are a mapless pack that calls no territory their home. We mostly role play in The Fluorite Plains except during the middle to late winter where we will role play in The South Pole.
Our weather, seasons, flora, and fauna are all based off of the ecosystems in the north-western hemisphere.
The Wayfarers are a neutral pack and we act in our own best interests above all else. As this role play progresses and rivalries/alliances are made, there will be plot collaboration between different role playing groups
Like many packs we are also ranked and have three levels when it comes to the ranks. All who join The Wayfarers start off with a Regular Rank, but proving your worth to the pack through your work can raise your status in the pack.
The Leader(s)First Chief (TWFC): As the founder and leader of the pack Silas has the title of First Chief. Responsibilities of the Chief include: allowing members into the group, deciding where to take the pack next, forming alliances and enemies, creating and leading missions, and speaking for The Wayfarers.
Second Chief (TWSC): Position of the second Chief is reserved for the mate of Silas, who can be male or female. The second chief shares all of the responsibilities of Silas except for speaking for The Wayfarers.
The CouncilLead Warrior (TWLW): Head of all the warriors in The Wayfarers. Their responsibilities include: training new warriors, leading battles, and relaying the concerns of the other warriors to the rest of The Council and Leaders.
Lead Hunter (TWLH): Head of all the hunters in The Wayfarers. Their Responsibilities include: training new hunters, leading hunts, and relaying the concerns of the other hunters to the rest of The Council and Leaders.
Lead Scout (TWLS): Head of all the scouts in The Wayfarers. Their Responsibilities include: training new scouts, leading scouting missions, relaying the concerns of the other scouts to the rest of The Council and Leaders, and very rarely assassination missions.
Lead Medic (TWLS): Head of all the medics in The Wayfarers. Their Responsibilities include: training new medics, leading gatherings of supplies, and relaying the concerns of the other medics to the rest of The Council and Leaders.
Regular RankingsWarrior (TWW): The fighters of the pack. Their responsibilities include: fighting off enemies and guarding the camp.
Hunter (TWH): The providers of the pack. Their responsibilities include: getting food for the pack and hunting down enemies of The Wayfarers.
Scout (TWS): The lookouts of the pack. Their responsibilities include: relaying messages for the pack and investigating new areas for The Wayfarers.
Medic (TWM): The healers of the pack. Their responsibilities include: healing injured pack members, gathering medicinal supplies, and watching over the pups and elders.
Elder (TWE): The older members of the pack. These are wolves that are too old to take up jobs within The Wayfarers.
Pup (TWP): The younger members of the pack. These are wolves that are too young to take up jobs within The Wayfarers.
Requirements- LITERACY: In order to join The Wayfarers you must show proper use of grammar, capitalization, and syntax must be used while in character! Unlike some FH role play groups we do NOT accept ANY sort of wolfspeak (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=32034.msg429158#msg429158) within our pack. You will have to send in a short role play sample if you are interested in joining us.
- WOLVES: The Wayfarers is a selective group that only allows wolves to join. Your character has to be at least half-wolf in order to be accepted. All species/breeds must be real, which means no fantasy canine species/breed can be used within the RP.
- SEMI-REAL to REALISTIC: The Wayfarers is considered a semi-realistic role play. We DO accept wolves with just about any sort of supernatural ability or power that does not kill or control another character; as well as wolves with unrealistic (but naturally colored) markings and fur patterns. We DON'T accept wolves with wings, horns, or unnaturally occurring colors.
- ACTIVITY: We are a SOMEWHAT active group. You need to be able to post at least two to three times a week in order to stay in the group.
- THE SITE: It is not required for Regular Ranked wolves to join the site, but if you wish to be considered for The Council or Second Chief then it is MANDATORY to join the site in order to earn a higher ranking.
