Alrighty, got that done. I guess I'll have to give people the .png file in order to see it when it exports right? Would I have to give them the .material file too?

I don't believe that is needed. I've never had to do it before, but it's possible.
For a custom ceiling? Yes, it is needed. owo

Also, I didn't think that they needed either the material or the texture, don't they both go into the .fho?

I think thats how it worked with one of my cavemaps, but I can check just to be sure.. o:
