Map Maker Crash with Heightmap?

Alrightie, so I'm trying to make a map, and FH crashes whenever I try to load the Heightmap. I've looked at the help guide and done everything that it said to do, and it still crashes. The program totally closes as soon as I enter it, no blank screen/freezing. I've checked for spelling, made it greyscale, one layer, PNG file. Any ideas on why, or am I just a fool who doesn't know what they're doing?

Post the picture, and I can save it and see if anything is wrong with it. Some times heightmaps are just stupid, too xD.

If you did 512x512 pixels, try 513x513
If that's already done, or no luck, then open your image then press Ctrl and C at the same time (copy), then close it out (yes, click the X) so you have it blank, then press Ctrl and V at the same time (paste), and then flatten the image. Then save it over the other and try again.

I need help as well... I did what was said on the youtube video, but when I put my height map on the desktop it doesn't have .PNG at the end. And also all my files are .CFG does that make a difference?

Er, Jan, this thread is from 2011 ^^; I don't think it's alive anymore, but you can check out the help threads in the forums for recent help :3 Maybe start your own thread if you can't find a solution
