Unable to Log in
« on: January 03, 2015, 03:43:24 am »
Hi, I recently joined FeralHeart and REALLY want to play the game.

But, after I downloaded and opened the application, I tried to log in using a username I personally can always remember and a medium ranged password.

When I entered it, the server said, "Incorrect Username or Password (5 attempts, 15min ban)"

I think it's a bug but I'm not certain.

I pretty much already tried those.
I just tried to see if I messed up the password but, I'm still able to go in the forums.

If yer username exceeds 16 characters, then that's more than likely the problem causin' this. T'is a glitch the server has where any username over 16 characters won't become recognized thus will be rendered unable to access the game.

My username is only nine letters
Should that be the case, take a gander at the quote below:

1. Make sure your caps lock is not on. The login is caps sensitive! Make sure you're typing everything correctly.

2. Do not use the numpad! Use the numbers above the alphabet on your keyboard.

3. Does your username or password have any unusual symbols such as ?$!@*-_ ect.? This can mess things up for some people. Make a new account if you're having trouble with symbols. If you make a new one, please try to stick with a-z letters, nothing capitalized.

4. Make sure that your keyboard language is in English! It won't log you in unless you have a US keyboard setting.

5. If you're trying to log on ingame, make sure the server is up and running. You can do this by looking at the top of the banner of this forum.

6. Make sure you are logging in with your username, not forum nickname. My actual username is JazzForLife, and I log in with that. I do not use Jazzz, because that is my forum nickname.

7. Even if you change your password on the forum, your password for the game will always be the same you signed up with.
Also, in the future it'd be best if ye' make a help thread of yer own whenever ye' are to undergo certain situations ye' need assistance with rather than post in another's thread with no advice of yer own to give. That way users will know to respond to ye' quickly and it keeps things a bit more organized/easier to track.
