Game not opening...

Okay, so I've had some problems with the game not opening...At all...
I have a mac, and I just got my computer back from when I was grounded; the moment I get it back I get on FH (Lol yeah low ikr) Except I can't. When I (tried) to open it it just bounced (Like normal) and stood in my hotbar for a minute or two, no window or anything, Then the icon closed (Or hopped and disappeared) I've reinstalled it about idk 5, 6 times? It's done the same thing... I have no idea if I did something wrong... it's making me reeeeeaaallly mad and frustrated..

Which version is it?

Is it a Lion, Snow Leopard, ect?

Certain versions are not compatible.

It's a Mac book air
Processor  1.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory  4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB
Software  OS X 10.8.5 (12F45)

But it's worked before, so why wouldn't it now. I rarely update my computer (It's bad I know) Should I update it more? See if that works? But if I do that I cant un-update it and I'm afraid if I go to far I wont be able to play it anymore; since Red can't update the game any longer.
