Screenshots have bad quality
« on: June 28, 2015, 03:12:19 pm »
I've noticed that the screenshots I've taken have suddenly turned to bad quality, yet that's not how they are when actually inside the game.

I've no idea how to fix it, and it's beginning to bug me to an extreme extent.
-Takes screenshot that's perfectly normal, goes to folder and it is a darkly pigmented thing.-
The colors are dimmed dramatically and looks nothing like they do in-game.

Any solutions?
Thank you to everyone who helps!

I've never heard of this issue, but maybe you could try PrntScr and then pasting it in Paint or GIMP, then if it's low quality. If it isn't bad, then I recommend saving as a .PNG

Like Aicosu said, use PrntScrn. Usually when using a program to take screenshots, they come out low quality and pixel-y for me, then I decided to use PrntScrn and it works very well! If you are using a Mac, you hold Cmd+Shift+4.

I'd suggest this. Also (not sure if it has much to do with it) if you have a lot of screenshots and/or pictures saved onto your computer, the graphics might get messed up a little bit. Something similar happened to me (with pictures, not screenshots) a while ago because I had saved too many pictures on my computer. Not sure if this is the case, but I thought I'd share just for good measure.

If you define yourself by the power to take life, the desire to dominate, to possess… then you have nothing.

I've tried that. ;v; I save it then it's still bad quality.

I deleted most of my screenshots and pictures, yet it's still acting up?

It's all of my screenshots, actually.

But when I upload them somewhere, such as Imgur, they are normal

When I go to see the screenshot;

Here's normal- when uploaded somewhere;

I'm starting to think this is normal for the game to do this. It isn't too bad, and uploading your pictures onto sites seem to fix the problem.

Maybe it's the computer itself?

I'm honestly confused now o_O
