I'll move this over to the Game Help board since it would seem more appropriate there. You are able to change your forum nickname, but you cannot change your in-game username. If your username is over the character limit, unfortunately, all you can do is create a new account with shorter characters. It can be a bit disappointing to have created an account and then have to make another one, but I'm sure you will catch the Registration open soon.
