General Information:
Okay, so the Inked Howlers are a very rare species from a land called Kilamoko Bay. They come in all sizes, ages and they are all wolf related. Each canine is unique in the colour of it's ink. The breed is made up of wolves that are like regular wolves but they tend to leave fairly obvious tracks behind them.
Males: All males are colourful. Their pelts are that of a realistic wolf while their markings tend to be very colourful and sometimes bright, for example a black wolf could have cyan blue markings. Each male has a rank. These ranks will be explained later. Males tend to be strong and powerful and they tend to be very good leaders. Of course you still have runts just like any species who tend not to be able to live up to this prophecy. The males will spar to show their strenght and the males may also fight over being dominant male unless there already is a dominant male.
Females: Just like males they have a normal wolfs pelt with colourful/bright markings. The only difference with how the females look is that the under eyes are the same colour as the markings. Females tend to be just as strong and powerful as the males alongs with the added trait of being either very stubborn or very calm or maybe somewhere in the middle. They will fight over who will be the dominant female unless there is already a dominant female.
Looks: So, each Inked Howler is marked with Head: Biohazard markings, Tail: Any marking you wish, and Body: Pawpads.
As I mentioned earlier, the pelt must be a realistic wolf pelt colour and the markings may be bright and/ colourful. A few examples are: Maroon wolf with Ivy green markings, Black wolf with Teal markings or Tawny wolf with Lime green markings.
Here is a picture of my wolf, a Inked Howler with a few friends. Click on the link below. Mine is the black one with the blue markings and blue tongue.

- TOP/LEADING RANKS:
- HOWLER KING - It is exactly what the title says. Ruler of the pack, king of the pack.
- HOWLER QUEEN - Exactly what it says, ruler of the pack, queen of the pack.
- ADVISOR - Gives advise to who ever has rule over the pack, making sure they know all the options of the situation.
- FUTURE RULER - Son/daughter/next heir to the throne. The canine the pack is relying on for the next genration.
- LEAD GUARD - The main protector over the royal Howler family, no matter where they go.
- SECONDARY RANKS:
- GUARDS - Protect the entire pack
- HUNTERS - Hunt for the entire pack
- MEDICS - Collect herbs and ensure the whole pack is in good health
- SOLDIERS - Ensure the safety of the pack and go to war if their leader calls them to.
- SCOUTS - Look out for danger, threats or even new arrivals.
- LEAD HUNTER - Leads the hunt.
- LEAD MEDICS - Ensures that all medics know what their job is.
- LEAD SOLDIER - Leads the soldiers into battle and trains them.
- LEAD SCOUT - Leads the scouting patrols and ensures that all scouts get a turn.
- LOW RANKINGS:
- PUP - It is what it is, a pup is the lowest ranking.
- APPRENTICE - A ranking for trainee's or 'teenaged' wolves.
- ELDER - For the near to passing wolves that have so much knowledge.
- PUP SITTER - Those that must watch the pups when the pack goes away and must train/teach the pups the way of the Inked Howler.
- NEWBLOOD - Newborn pups and even new arrivals in the pack all get the title newblood until they grow or until they prove themselves worthy of a new title..
Now we can have a look at their living habits.
Inked Howlers Hunting: Just like wolves they hunt in a pack, in order to cover me ground and get more kills although they have one trait in common with Warrior Cats ..... A kill pile. Each kill made is dragged back home and tossed into a large kill pile until the pack desires to feed. Unless you are a cannibal .... in that case it is easy to hunt your own kind. Simply follow the inked paw prints and dinner is served.
Inked Howlers Den's/Homes: Inked Howlers tend to prefer the great out doors rather than dens, but if needs be they will find a den to warm up or shelter from the storm.
Inked Howlers Need To Know: Okay, so we are almost done here, but there are just a few little bits you need to know in order to make an Inked Howler.
1) If you want to go with my version of an Inked Howler and want to keep it to my idea then the kind of land a Inked Howler would live in is a peaceful forest.
2) If you decide to use my idea, do not claim it as your own.
3) You may make hybrids out of my idea, let me know how they go :D
4) Have fun!
