Feral Heart freezes up and shuts down, Help!

I use a Windows 7 Vista and my Feral Heart worked just fine up until a month or two ago, I had no problem downloading the update but In game I'm lagging to the point where I cant even move, My window stops responding for such a long time I have to close it and it just shuts down. I changed the core the game ran on to the second one in hopes it would fix the problem but it hasn't. Please Help!

This is likely just due to the large player count right now. The servers are being hammered, and as a result, it can be difficult to sustain a connection.
Give it some time, or reset your characters' homes and chill in Lonely and see if you can sustain. If so, it's just a server error, and I'd suggest trying to enter a less crowded map like Seaside or Cape from Lonely.

Just because you said that you're lagging really bad you could also try reinstalling the update and selecting the LIGHT version from the installer. This will help if it is just your computer struggling to run the game, but it won't help if your problem is directly caused by networking issues.

Thank you for the reply, When I downloaded the update I saved it as "FearlHeart1.15" and kept it seperate from my original Feral Heart folder. Should I delete my old folder? And I don't lag in lonely cave, I have no problems with lonely cave. I will try reinstalling it, Thank you. Would selecting the light version change the game in any way?

If you do not have any files that you want to keep (custom maps, presets etc) then it's alright to delete the old folder. Otherwise just keep it so you will have a backup copy of your files.
