Repetitive Crashing

This occurred only a couple hours ago, when I clicked the Feral-Heart icon and it immediately crashed afterwards. I do not know why it's causing this problem, but when I check the FH.log this comes up:

ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: WaterMillGates.cfg failed!

ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: WaterMillGates.cfg failed!
ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: fhPodiumGates.cfg failed!
ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: fhPodiumWater.cfg failed!

The .cfg's are most likely disappearing after a while! But, I have no idea how.  :o


After crashing I had backed up my_presets, presets, screenshots, sounds, terrains/textures, exports, and music, then deleted the whole FeralHeart folder and downloaded the new update once again. It worked for a short time, between the on/off internet and login tab. Then, just earlier it started crashing again. If this keeps happening it'd be the end of my FeralHeart career, which isn't good because I have a lot of work placed into this game and I'm not ready to leave yet.  :-X

I checked for duplicate particles and materials to just make sure if it wasn't those either, and there were none.

This has never happened before, so I'm a bit scared if nobody can figure this one out. If you need information I could always send it out.

Since files are going missing maybe your anti-virus is removing them. Try disabling it and playing the game after you do a fresh install.

Try not to install anything custom made unless you know for a fact that it's compatible with the newer version.
Have you tried restarting your router, logging into another computer / different browser perhaps?

After re-downloading the game, have you tried downloading the game using another method? Ran the game as an administrator? ( might be some missing / bad files ).

Sorry if these come off as confusing, just throwing ideas out there.

I'll try that, I do have a quite annoying anti-virus program...  ;)

As I've stated, it has worked for quite a while after that first reinstall.. but now it's starting to crash again. As M'Lass stated, it may have been my anti-virus.

I have restarted my router, but I do not think that a different browser would do anything.

Alright... I'm reinstalling the game. Meanwhile, any more suggestions? I mean, you're never quite sure if anybody else stumbles upon this as well.
