Having Trouble Installing Maps
« on: July 25, 2016, 08:06:01 pm »
Hello, so I am having trouble installing maps with the new patch. Every time I try to install a map, it doesn't show up in Cape of Distant Worlds. Here are some things that I have already tried doing:

1. I've put the .fhm .fho .fhs .fhw files in the exports folder.
2. I've also tried putting the .fhm file into C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains\fhmaps
3. Then I've been putting the object files into C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains\fhmaps\fhobjects
4. And finally, I've been putting the textures into C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains\textures

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I just placed files into the wrong folders. I appreciate the help :)

The map portals are transparent so it would be a little hard finding them.  You have to look around more until you find the portal.

Thank you so much for the help, fireboss! I just didn't know that they were transparent like that :P Thanks again!

Some people swap the portal texture just to find them!
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"
