Floof-O-Meter?

I know I might seem stupid for asking this, but what exactly is the Floof-O-Meter for thats in my profile? Is it like points you get for doing a certain thing? Because at the moment I have 0, so i'm thinking its something good you have to do? Thanks!

Make 25 posts on the forum and you might notice a button called 'nuzzle' appears under other posters names.  If someone presses that button the counter increases by one.

They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?

The floof-o-meter is basically a karma system we have here. If a user notices that you did something great (help out someone, write a really cool story, or just being a nice person, etc), then they will nuzzle you if they so choose (however, don't feel bad if you don't have any at the moment, it's not a measure of how much you're doing, just a thank you c:). It's all anonymous, so it's really interesting to wonder about who gave you the floof and why ^^

Anyways, since you seem pretty happy with the answers above I'll go ahead and lock this up now c:
