This is interesting! I, personally, accept buddy requests right away if it's someone that I know.
If I'm in a role-play group or something along those lines, I try to friend everyone that I can because I feel as though I'll see those people often enough that we'll become friends anyways.
To be honest though, it's been a while since I've actually had some 'friends' on Feralheart--like whispering in actual conversation instead of playing games or role-playing. But there's always the option to remove someone from your friendslist if you feel as though you're not as close with that person, so I'm pretty open-minded about who I add, haha. I'm always afraid that if I don't add someone who I genuinely like, then I might lose the chance to do so at a later date & I won't see them again, if that makes any sense, haha.
