I'm going to go ahead and tell it straight and honestly.
The buttswing animation was replaced by a moon walk (created by xRuby1234x/Phloxenfree), and the headbang animation was modified (by xRuby1234x/Phloxenfree) slightly both for the reasons already explained. People would take advantage of these animations, and use these animations inappropriately, such as for sexual entertainment or public gross/mature roleplay. Sure, this was NOT a concern in private maps, as private maps aren't a Member of Staff's main priority, but it was a big concern in the public maps. The game is a recommended PG13 game, but aimed for audiences of all ages. The content which is shown publicly/locally on Feral Heart (forum and in-game), always has to be displayed appropriately for younger audiences, which is why the PG13 guideline is there.
As for custom made animations created by other users/members of this community, it is out of the Staff's hands whether or not they are appropriate or inappropriate. When you download and install Feral Heart, you are downloading all of the official and original/default game content. What a user decides to modify in the game is all on them. It's their own choice, and at the end of the day, a user is responsible for their own actions. So, if a user were to download and install these sexual/realistic mating animations, then they're free to do so. No one else can see them unless they download the same animation. All I can say is that if a parent of an 8 year old were to catch them using these animations and want to complain to Feral Heart Staff about it, then it's not the Staff they should be complaining to. It's their own child for downloading these custom animations independently.
