(Solved for now) crash when trying to select specific characters

Do all of your images for your preset only have 1 layer?

yes, they do, all are PNG files, 512 x 512 in size

(and yes I also changed the JPEG to PNG in the code so it would read em, Im not sure if this actually does anything)

Okay so: I tried replacing the Material File of that preset with the Material file of another preset with the same code (the default code, just with the headR and headL altered) and deleted the FHP file of that glitchy preset too. Now, the preset editor doesnt crash but only shows the RIGHT side of the body on the animal. while the rest of its parts appear yellow/black. I might be able to fix the problem from here.

Make sure the file names match with what's inside the coding

EDIT: Its doing it all over again what the actual fudge is wrong with my dang preset

EDIT EDIT: Now its fixed again after I tried deleting the FHP file and re-exporting it... Im so confused as to why this is happeneing...

It could be the .material file itself altogether. You can try making an entirely new one if the problem persists. As long as you name it exactly
like the original, it should work fine with the game c:
