Failed to connect to front server
« on: December 14, 2017, 06:09:51 pm »
Hello guys,
I tried everything to fix this problem (creating a  new account because I haven't used my old one in a while, adding new rule to my inbound/outbound on firewall, changing the password on my old account, reinstalling the program, kept the link "https://feral-heart.com/login/index.php" open while trying to play) Nothing works. My internet connection has no problems at all... Tried to connect somewhere else as well but it still doesn't work.
Does anyone know if there's a solution? :(

Adding onto the solutions Jango provided, have you tried using a different browser as well?

yes I tried Chrome, Firefox, even internet explorer. No other applications are running and I used to play the game at home so bandwith shouldn't be a problem?
I also wait for like a  few minutes (with the window of the webiste still opened) before logging in, even tried refreshing and stuff, but nope, nothing seems to help :c

Thanks for the replies though!

check bandwidth?

I checked it to be sure and it's around 22,3Mbps , is that enough?

Only asking because sometimes it can get sketchy when downloading things(or doing a lot of internet stuff at once).

Should be more than enough.

Since nothing seems to be working for ya, do you by chance know if you have any proxies within your browser?
Quote
A proxy or proxy server is basically another computer which serves as a hub through which internet requests are processed. By connecting through one of these servers, your computer sends your requests to the proxy server which then processes your request and returns what you were wanting. In this way it serves as an intermediary between your home machine and the rest of the computers on the internet. Proxies are used for a number of reasons such as to filter web content, to go around restrictions such as parental blocks, to screen downloads and uploads and to provide anonymity when surfing the internet. - WhatIsMyIP.com

Proxies will make it so the IP address of your browser (where you're connecting to the login tab page from) and the IP address that you're connecting to the game client with are different from one another, thus, causing connectivity issues. If you are unsure if you are running a proxy, try this:

- Go to https://feral-heart.com/myip/ and make note of what IP address is listed there in the upper left corner. Do not post that IP address here as that is for your eyes only.
- Then, download this http://www.feral-heart.com/myip.zip, run it, and see what IP address it gives you when it is complete.

If these two do not match then you are likely running a proxy in your browser.
