do i have to put down my fire wall???

ok so I really want to play this for the first time but it wont let me. about a week ago I asked my parents for help and they said in order to play it I have to take down the firewall and they said no. how can I play without putting down my firewall??? :-\

I don't think you have to put down your firewall to download/play this game??
Is your antivirus blocking access?
