Multiple things could make crash;
particles (though it wouldn't effect you if she had doubles and it crashed for her) however, she may not be including something.
weather files (remove these, test if works)
over-meshed. (lots of mesh files that could be causing lag)
All of her files should be FHM/FHO for the map itself and included objects.
