Map Pack Problems
« on: June 27, 2011, 08:10:48 am »
Now I realise this has been an issue for a number of people, but after a long search, I haven't found an answer, so I shall ask. I apologise in advance if there is a solution to this that was staring me in the face.

The problem: I installed the map pack .exe as instructed, whilst my game was not running, I opened the game, went to look for the portal, and couldn't find it. In fact, it REMOVED all of my OTHER map portals but one!
What is wrong?

-I am an experienced computer user, I know the utorrent file downloaded correctly, and that the .exe file installed to its full extent.
-I have checked that the pathways file is in the correct place.
-I haven't fiddled with any files since install at all.
-I do have the latest version of FH.
-My game was not running when I installed, and therefore when I started, it was 'restarted' when it was opened.

Very much appreciate any help that anyone can give me, or even just suggestions on what might help <3
I want to explore these shiny new maps! XD

Try deleting the files and redownloading the torrent.

I'll try deleting and re-downloading, though it's going to be a pain in the bum figuring out what is what XD

And no, oh gods no, I would not own a Mac if my life depended upon it XD I own a PC, and only ever will own a PC XD

I keep getting a bad token issue with the map pack. I lost a dog to it already. I am also running windows, can get in everywhere else just not the map pack worlds.
