Watermill Question

Ok this isnt a: please help me Im dyingggggg question. I just want to know if it will work

So lets say I go on mapmaker and put a portal in watermill. Then lets say I jump on my character and go to the cape and go to watermill. Will I be able to see other people there if they did the same thing?
