Slow and laggy

When i log in its completely fine but as soon as i actually get into the map its extremely slow. Its very hard to talk to people and i cant even move around when its this bad...it may just be my computer, but is it slow for anyone else?

It's normal. If there are a lot of people in the map, it's slow.

Its slow for older computors. If there is a large number (as xRubyX said) you may be laggy. Turn off distance and water reflection should help.

But doesnt that mean its happening to everyone else. because they seem like there going fast....

Some people have all this fancy stuff for their computers and they may be going faster, but they aren't going fast, I can assure you. The lag won't affect their character's running speed, so it just appears as if they aren't lagging.
