A Custom Map Problem
« on: December 12, 2011, 09:55:05 pm »
Hello there everyone! Recently, my friend and I have been having trouble with the custom map I just released. I brought her in to test it (she's the only one who has ever downloaded it), and for some reason, it eats all of her characters. The map itself works fine for me; it lets me in and out with ease, and does not lag whatsoever. However, she always seems to loose connection/freeze! The map does not have any custom meshes or items in it, has a small size, and does not have tons of regular items in it either. Is something perhaps wrong with the map, server, or her computer? Any help or advice would help. Thanks in advance  :)

Maybe you didn't export all of the files.  And does she ever get to run around in the map before crashing?

No she freezes immediatly when she goes in. Her brother tried it on a different computer, and he recieved some kind of "Ogre Error." All the files have been exported, and she was able to walk around once before.

Well yes actually we did figure it out thanks to the Ogre error XD. It said something about the sky file being "missing" or "could not be found." I made everyone delete that certain sky file from the feralheart folder, and then all of a sudden, the map worked for them LOL. Thank you for your suggestions though :D
