When i start FH it turns white and shuts off?

Okeii, i felt like playing FH so i clicked the icon and logged in, but it told me to download the latest patch   ??? So i downloaded it and turned on FH again, but the screen went white and shut off  :-\ What should i do? Please answer as quick as possible!

Back up all your files, uninstall FH. Delete all old setups and patches, etc. Download and install the game again.

But isnt that a dangerous way of doing it?Because I heard that if you did that you could risk losing some things?:I

Well, that's why you need to back up your files, those are really the only things you can lose. If you re-install the game all the FH files will be there again, or else you wouldn't be able play the game.
