ok i log in,i go to my char and i click it.then it sends me to a dark screen and play depressing music! WTF? i just want to play FH+!!!!!!

its not the select screen its the play thing screen

Did you actually read it or just look at the pretty pictures? There are fixes for multiple problems posted there.

Was your Character on a Custom map or one of the defaults?

When you log in and enter the map are the icons and the mini map in the corner? If you can then it sounds  like the map has been deleted, the quickest way to fix this is to Delete and re-install the game.
