A map smudge problem...

Whenever I use smudging on my map, FeralHeart hates it :( Also, how do you get the download link?

what do you mean by smudging? Like, in the editing program?
Does it turn out all blocky?

Please be more explicit, what do you mean by smudging? Smudging from GIMP, photoshop etc?
