The Canis Praelia.
THE BEGINNING
You are a dog, as feral one. Your life is made up of day to day chores, for you are an underling of your leader, the Canis/Lupus high leader in your pack, an underling of your Ilk, or Confederation. Your leader, now they are underlings too. Underlings to their god/goddess. The mighty Canis, the alluring Lupus. You serve them, breathe them, live them. They guide you, and in return you are their eternal servant. No, no. They do not look down upon you. In their eyes, you are one of them. But in order to achieve this feeling of nirvana, of god-like power, you must serve until your final breath. But, a war has broke out between the two Ilks of Canis and Lupus. One was to find out who of the two gods is almighty, all powerful. Who will win? When a Canis pack within their ilk is destroyed by wolves from the east, the west, the north and the south, do the Ilks band together or fight to the death?

Why should we win?
Why should we win? That should be easy, my friend! The damned Lupus wolves. They and their goddess think they have all the power they need in knowledge, only true males have the power to rule! What is a true man? Well, for one, it can be a female, too! Anyone with speed and strength! The strength of a bull, the speed of a thousand deer! That is what a man is! Canis blesses those with such strength. To hell with intelligence, to hell with knowledge. We have power and that's all we'll need!
THE LUPUS ILK
Ah, those Canis males are at it again.
The Canis believe that power, and speed are all it is to a battle. To be skilled with fang and claw is what they think they need to win. But they are wrong, sadly. Yes, sadly. Though we are enemies, the Lupus think highly of their rivals. We do believe our goddess, Lupus should reign supreme, though. With Canis leading our three packs, and two Ilks, chaos, starvation and loss of intelligence is on its way. We believe that you need strategy, stealth and skill. All of which need knowledge, intelligence.

Maculum Dux(Canis)- This is the male leader, the highest honor anyone could receive while in the Canis Ilk. Females can also achieve this rank, but it's extremely rare and only to be given to the females who are considered to be 'as strong as a male'. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, start wars, accept allies and participate/time the Canis Initiationis. Partner to the Rectrix.
Rectrix(Canis)- This is the female leadership position. Unlike the Maculum Dux, these must be female and cannot have any male holders. This is the second highest honor a female could receive, given the fact they do not receive the Maculum Dux position. They can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, start wars, accept allies and participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Secundam Masculus(Canes)- This is the male beta. They are second in command to the Rectrix and the Maculum Dux. They, unlike the Maculum Dux cannot be held by a female, for the female also have a second in command rank. Though the males are considered 'more worthy', the leader may choose the female Secundam to take the throne. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, may NOT start wars or accept allies, and may participate/time the Canis Initiationis. They are the Councillor to the Maculum Dux.
Secundo Feminam(Canes) - This is the female beta. This rank can only be held by females. They are the Councillors to the Rectrix, often giving them ideas on training troops, etc. Like the Secundam Masculus they are able to; Breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, may NOT start wars or accept allies, and may participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Tertium Praeceptum(CIII)- This is the delta position, this rank can be held by males, or females. Usually the delta over-sees the training of troops, and scouts. The Tertium should be skilled in both of these positions (Scouting and fighting) and should be able to give tips to the training ranks. They are able to breed unlimited pups, adopt unlimited pups, can recruit, can accept recruits, may NOT start wars, or accept allies. Is able to participate/time the Canis Initiationis. This rank is also in charge of going through with the Canis Initiationis.
SUB-HIGH TIER
Maximum Lembos(CMI)- This is the high scout, they are in charge of spying, and scouting missions. These missions must only be assigned by the High Tier class. They are also in charge of training the Speculor (Regular scouts) They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Maximum Bellator(CMB)- This is the high warrior. These guys are in charge of training the Bellator (Regular Warrior) and being on the front lines in time of war. They should be strong, and have a great pride for their work. They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Maximum Ultricies(CMU)- This is the high assassin. They are in charge of training the Interfectores (Regular Assassin)and can take high skill assassination missions which are only handed out by the High Tier ranks. They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Maximum Paeoniis(CMP)- This is the high healer. They are in charge of training the Paeoniis (Regular Healer) and they are the first to begin healing if some are available. They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Maximum Cohortis(CMC)- These are the High Guards. They are in charge of training the Cohortis (Regular Guard) and they are also in charge of guarding the camp. They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
Maximum Genitrix(CMG)- This is the high mother. They are in charge of training the Genitrix (Regular mother) and they are to oversee the offspring of the pack's well being. They are able to breed 4 blood pups, adopt unlimited, take walks without asking, participate/time the Canis Initiationis.
MIDDLE-TIER RANKS
Speculor(CS)- This is the Scouting rank. These are in charge of taking missions their Maximum Lembos has recommended them for. They are to work together with the Interfectores to train. They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
Bellator(CB)- This is the Warrior rank. These are in charge of fighting off enemies, and protecting the high tiers, when needed. They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
Interfectores(CI)- This is the Assassin rank. These work together with the Speculor and go on missions they are recommended for. They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
Paeoniis(CP)- This is the healing rank. They make sure the pack is healthy and often work with the Genitrix to make sure the offspring is healthy.They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
Cohortis(CC)- This is the guard rank. They are in charge of keeping the pack safe and making sure no enemies get inside the camp. They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
Genitrix(CG)- This is the Den Mother rank. They work with the healers to make sure that the offspring of the pack is healthy. They are allowed to breed no pups, adopt 3, take walks after asking, and can participate in the Canis Initiationis.
LOW TIER
Prolis(c)- The offspring of the pack. May take walks with adults, too young to breed, adopt and mate.
Afflige(C)- This is the Omega of the pack. They have no rights, cannot participate in any pack-wide events and are either shunned or beaten. Not a desirable rank.
Initio(Cr)- This is the Initiate rank. They must wait three consecutive days before they get their rank. They submit to everyone except for the Afflige and the Prolis.

HIGH TIER
Dux Lupus(Lupus)- This is the high leader. As stated, it is the 'Wolf Leader'. This means that the bloodline of the leader includes that of wolf ancestors. This can be held by both male and female, though female is preferred. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, start wars, accept allies and participate/time the Lupus Initiationis
Secundo Lupus(Lupi)- This is the beta rank. They are second in charge of the pack and are Councillors to the Dux Lupus. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, may NOT start wars or accept allies, and may participate/time the Lupus Initiationis.
Tertio Lupus(TTTL)- This is the Delta rank. They are third in command and oversee the training of the healers and guards. They should be skilled in both fighting and healing. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, may NOT start wars or accept allies, and may participate/time the Lupus Initiationis.
Quarta Lupus(TTLL)- This is the fourth, and last high rank. These are like the Delta, except they oversee the training of the hunters, fighters and scouts. They should be skilled in all three of these subjects. Can breed unlimited, adopt unlimited, can recruit, accept recruits, may NOT start wars or accept allies, and may participate/time the Lupus Initiationis.
SUB-HIGH TIER
Summi Militem(LSM)- The Summi Militem is the high warrior. They are in charge of leading the first platoon and training the Bellator and the Bellator Minor. They may walk without asking, breed 2 pups and adopt 3 pups. They may participate in the Lupus Initiationis. Three Maximum.
Summo Custodi(LSC)- The Summo Custodi is the high guard. They are in charge of guarding the camp and training the Custodi Minor. The females specialize in guarding the pups and the males in attacks, even though they both are experts in fighting. May breed 2 pups and adopt 2 pups. They may take walks without asking and may participate in the Lupus Initiationis. Four Maximum.
Summum Paeoniis(LSP)- The Summum Paeoniis is the the high Healer. They are responsible for the well-being of the pack and the training of the Paeoniis Minor. They may take walks without asking, and may not participate in battle. They may take part in the Lupus Initiationis and may breed 2 pups and adopt 3 pups. Three Maximum.
Summum Sicarius(LSS)- The Summum Sicarius is the high Assassin. They are responsible for dealing with any assassinations and missions as well as training the Sicarius Minor. They mat take part in the Lupus Initiationis, may take walks without asking and may breed 2 pups and adopt 2. Two Maximum.
Summo Speculator(LSI)- The Summo Speculator is the high Scout. They are responsible for going out on the battle field first to survey the enemy's number as well as training the Speculator Minor. They may take walks without asking and can only breed 2 pups and adopt 3. They make take part in the Lupus Initiationis and will carry out any spying mission with the Summo Sicarius. Three Maximum.
Summo Venatoris(LSV)- The Summo Venatoris is the high Hunter. They are responsible for supplying the pack with food and occasionally fighting in times of war. They are also responsible for training the Venatoris Minor. They can participate in the Lupus Initiationis, breed 2 pups and adopt three, and take walks without asking. Three Maximum.
MIDDLE TIER
Militem(LM)- The Militem is a warrior. They protect the pack in times of need and war. They may take walks if they ask and cannot breed any pups. They are allowed to adopt 1 pup and can participate in the Lupus Initiationis. When the Phaedra feels they're ready, they make rank up. They will also help in the training of the Bellator Minor.
Custodi Minor(LC)- The Custodi Minor is a Guard. They protect home and the pups. The females specialize in Pup care, while the males guard over everyone as a whole. They both know fighting and will help in times of war, but must never forget their station. They may take walks after asking, May participate in the Lupus Initiationis and cannot breed pups. They may adopt 1 pup. When the Summo Custodi feel they are ready, they may rank up.
Paeoniis Minor(LP)- The Paeoniis Minor is a Healer. They help take care of the pack and heal any injured wolves. They make take walks after asking, can adopt one pup, have no bred pups and may not participate in battle. They may help with the Lupus Initiationis. When the Summum Paeoniis feels they are ready, they may rank up.
Sicarius Minor(LS)- The Sicarius Minor is an Assassin. They may take part in any missions the Summun Sicarius recommends them for. They work with the Speculator Minor on some missions. They may take walks after asking, have no bred pups and may adopt 1. They may participate in the Decimation and when the Summun Sicarius feel they are ready, may rank them up.
Speculator Minor(LI)- The Speculator Minor is a Scout. They scout the battle field and take on missions the Summum Speculator recommends them for. They make take walks after asking, can adopt one pup, have no bred pups and may not participate in battle. They may help with the Lupus Initiationis. They work with the Sicarius Minor on occasion and must be recommended for a mission. When the Summo Speculator feels they are ready, they may rank up.
Venatoris Minor(LV)- The Venatoris Minor is a Hunter. They hunt for the pack and provide them with food. They may also be asked to participate in battle, but only in dire need. They make take walks after asking, can adopt one pup, have no bred pups. They may help with the Lupus Initiationis. They work with the Sicarius Minor on occasion and must be recommended for a mission. When the Summo Venatoris feels they are ready, they may rank up.
LOW TIER
Militem Minor(Lm)- They are the grunts. They train under the Militem and the Summi Militem. May not take walks,May not breed pups, may adopt one pup. May not help with the Lupus Initiationis. Are a rank that needs to prove itself before ranking up.
Tiro(Lr)- The Tiro is a recruit. They may not take walks, have mates, breed, adopt or help with the Decimation. When they have stayed on for three consecutive days, they will receive their Lupus Initiationis mark.
Parva(l)- The Parva is a pup. They may not take walks without an adult, have mates, breed, adopt or help with the Decimation. When they are old enough they may have their Lupus Initiationis if they so choose.
Decimatio(L)- The Decimatio is an Omega. They have no rights and will stay this rank forever unless told. They will be the punching bag of the pack, and will receive constant punishment.
