when i install it, it goes to my computer local disk. it did the samething on my old laptop and no problems.

Have you tried using the torrent? It seems like stuff isn't installing for you. Try the torrent, or make sure you've nothing else open/running when installing, as it interferes with it.

i installed DirectX SDK june 2010 and I finally got it to work. i appreciate all the help that i get and who took their time to help me out. so thank you -bows-
