Uploading Maps To Websites
« on: August 03, 2012, 07:14:00 am »
Hello, FH! :D

I recently made a map, and have since not been able to upload it to any websites. When I export the items to my exports folder, nothing new shows up. I'm trying my best to figure it out, and I even asked Red, but nothing helped. So, any advice would be great. Thanks ^^

Hmm.... Have you tried uploading it on Mediafire? I haven't ever uploaded a map so I couldn't tell you XD I think you need an account to post something on Mediafire though. You also need to export your map and compress it into a zipped file. If you need more help just let me know. Sorry but I'm new to feralheart still so....yeah X3
Hope this helped! Mediafire is here--> www.mediafire.com

No longer active on the forums, though I do check back once in a while.

You will need to install a file compresser. Such as winrar or winzip(google it and download one of those either on is fine) And take all the map files and put them into a .zip or .rar file. And then upload it to MediaFire, the link is already up there as Alastar said.

If the files don't appear when you export them, I'd recommend reinstalling.
Find your FeralHeart folder and rename it to anything except "FeralHeart."
Go to your downloads and launch the FeralHeart installer. (FHSetup.exe)
Install FeralHeart and it should make a new FeralHeart folder in your C: drive.
Take the map from your old FeralHeart and move it to the newly installed one.
Load the map, export, and see if it works now.
