Google Chrome... *shakes fist*
« on: August 02, 2012, 01:48:17 am »
Okay, after my computer froze, when I got on Google Chrome, you know how Google Chrome remembers what site you were on before you crashed or froze? Well, when I got on Google Chrome it didn't do that. Also when I got on FeralHeart or YouTube or any other site than Google, it had a blank page in front of the link in the address bar instead of a green http.// whatever it is. The http.// thingy is also missing.
Also when I'm on YouTube, when I move my cursor over the video, the video "moves". Not the page, the video. Can anyone explain?

Never mind, I just found out what the paper thing means, but I still want to know why the screen moves on YouTube.

Have you tired uninstalling, then reinstalling Chrome at all? Usually when problems arise this is a simple solution. :)
I am odd, also, my name is Travis, but, I prefer to be called by my alter persona, Sibirskiy, or just Sib.. d:

I did that and it still does that. The paper thing's still there, the http.// isn't there, and the video shakes.

Well, the little white paper is normal, that just the site details... and the http:// prefix isn't a big problem, I've noticed some sites don't have it show up. Though... I don't understand why the video would shake like you say it does.... you have a good internet connection right? It could be connection lag that causes it... other than that I don't know why it would be doing that. o.o'

I use Google Chrome instead of my Internet Explorer, actually I have completely removed Internet Explorer.
Never have I encountered such a problem.

There are a few things that may have caused the history problem. When your computer froze, did you shut down your computer(force shut it)? Usually if your computer freezes it stops EVERYTHING but the process of picking its operation up.
Freezes from a computer can sometimes cause Chrome to crash and doing so doesn't save the history. It depends how far you were downloading the objects from the page. You could have been half way which explains the blank pages. That would mean that you downloaded only half way or something. Like Sibirskiy said, it might be your internet that causes it to reduce its speed and also reduce the download speed.

About the Youtube thing, that has never happened and I don't know what would cause that, sorry.

That would have caused the history to have not been saved then. c:

I now have my videos shaking xD
Only when I drag my cursor off and onto the video. Meh, I guess I can live with it.
