Older Map loads new terrain ALWAYS!!

OK I do not know how to fix this. I made a map saved and exported it, made another (ditto). decided to go to the first one, then the terrain is the same as the second map's terrain! How do I make my map terrain like its supposed to look?
Ok do not say anything like this, "do you have your fhm and fho and fhw files?" "Do you have all of your map files in the folder of the map you need to fix?" because YES! I have every file in place! every terrain and texture file on my map in map maker is spelled and capitalized correctly! the only problem is that it ignores what I do to the map! it just makes every terrain the same! help me please!

Well If Its Your First Time I Suggest You Watch -- Feral Heart Map Making Tutorials - youtube.

Or A Simple Way To Explain -- Go To Map Maker -- World -- And There Are A Bunch Of Terrains To Choose From.

If you Make your own terrains DO NOT EDIT THE DEFAULT TERRAIN DX!!

You Copy The Default-Terrain, then you open it in either -- PhotoShop -- Gimp -- Or FireWorks.

The Colors You Use For It Is [[The Proper Colors "RBG"]] Blue, Red, Green -- Purple, Yellow.

Then you type in the name on the map maker Under ""Terrain Alpha Map"" [[Example -- Map01.png]]
Theres Your Map! If you need any more help just ask.

Yeah but it shows my map just fine in map maker but when I go in game the map is different somehow!

Did you Re-export it? Or Even Save It Once you changed The terrain?

I never changed anything! Its fine one day and POOF the next! It changes itself!
And yes when I'm in mapmaker the terrain is like it should be. I save it and re export it, then when I exit out and log back in, the map changes itself in game but not on mapmaker.

Then Aparently You Either Have To Re-install [not including maps, presets, ect. save those in a seprate folder on your desktop]]

Or you could -
Do a system restore and take your computers memory back to an earlier date. It should be pretty straight forward just go to your start menu and search "System Restore" from there its easy. Take it back say an hour or so before it happened.

Is your old map and the new one named the same? If so, then it could be why you see new stuff in old map.. I don't know really how to explain it, but as you enter the map with a specific name ingame, the server or game or whatever might just pick up the new map's terrain as they both are the same name.

Please ignore this if the names are different.. Just you never said anything about renaming new map to something else when you edited it.
