Hello, I'm a brand new player and I must admit I don't entirely understand what is going on with feralheart most of the time, but I would like to roleplay. I am looking for a roleplaying group that is completely literate, perhaps with older players. I am in college and I know a lot of players are in the 12-14 age. I'd prefer 18-21 ages. This doesn't mean I want something against the rules or not family-friendly, just older players. I am in pacific standard time and will usually play in the evenings.
My character: Otorongo Species: female black jaguar
Her story: Otorongo was a black jaguar living in the heart of the Amazon forest of what is now Peru in the 16th century. She was well-known among the natives as being the large, mysterious black cat of the jungle, and they both feared and revered her as a type of god, although she kept to herself and rarely came near humans. During the 16th century, the Spanish conquistadors came to Peru, and a band of explorers traversed the Amazon rainforest and shot Otorongo as a prize.
After her death, Otorongo found herself in the land of Feral Heart. She is of a serious demeanor and is baffled by the technicolor dogs roaming the countryside. She does not know what lions or tigers are, owing to her origin in South America. She considers "dogs" beneath her, as most of her experience is with small Bush Dogs or foxes.
Her name, Otorongo, is a Peruvian word for Jaguar, modified from the old Quechua word, 'uturunku'. Quechua is the language of the Incas and native Andeans of Peru, which a great deal of people still speak today. I encountered this in my month-long trip to Peru one year ago.
Anyway, I hope my character is interesting, and I hope to find a good RP group!
