Well, the title is a bit different than the question actually is...

Q: How do you turn of Water Reflection off and reduce View Distance to Zero? A map is making me lag alot and I need to get on there.

Options->Video
Scroll down to Water Reflection, uncheck the box.
Scroll to View Distance, drag the slider down. c:
