Woah, easy on the caps there. Are you trying to use the num pad? Did you check to see if number lock was on/off?

This depends on your keyboard. Usually, it's near the numpad, or next to the Scroll lock.
It's a key, which should be labeled 'Num Lock'.

well its on and all things and im trying to write those numbers that are in the top of a keyboard and then i lose aconection

yep i think its some thing strangei can write only 9 and 0 thats it and some times 3

You could always spell out the numbers

I got it i must press Ctrl and alt and then i can write numbers XD
