Preset Confusion
« on: November 18, 2012, 11:15:07 am »
I've (Attempted) to make a preset, looked at the Tutorial on the home page, and looked on Youtubez, but that just made me more confused. XD People seem to do it in different ways, which way is the easiest? How do I get the fur texture on the preset?
Thankies XD

To get the fur:
Example of body
Go to your preset file thing. The one you want to make/edit. To get the fur, you need either gimp or photoshop open. I use gimp, and press open as layers, feralheart folder>media>textures and open either cbodyshade.jpg or fbodyshade.jpg. Fbodyshade is feline, cbodyshade canine. When opened, press a little arrow on the layers box. If you havn't got that, it's a type of toolbox, and found in dockable dialogs.  After pressing, press 'multiply'

Hope this helped. Explore the textures, and you can find masks in the feralheart textures folder c:

Indeed, but this is just a simple way to explain, rather going into immense detail about googling new textures&masks.
