Furriness (sorted!)
« on: December 11, 2012, 12:51:39 pm »
I don't really need 'help' as such, more some guidance. I'm been asked to make a preset for a wolf and the person asking said they wanted the pelt "extremely furry". I have lots of different fur textures I can use but the problem is...I'm not sure which one gives the furriest look.
I can't decide between the one in this thread: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=7393.0

this one: http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=fh+fur+texture#/d4ga4hm

or this one: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=3930.0 It seems the image isn't showing up this one seems to be quite popular so I'm guessing you know what it looks like.

Someone help me out here, I'm so indecisive >.<

That's the thing, I can't make my mind up.

I suppose I can use one, show them the preset when it's done and ask whether they like the texture or not.  :-\ Yeah I'll do that. XD

I think you should use Sully's fur texture. Because, in all honesty.. that looks the best.
If it's not furry enough, maybe just double it?

I'm not sure what Sully's fur texture looks like, but it does indeed seem rather popular.
You could always get them and compare the looks. There's always something that makes the textures look different from the others.

I'm saving the .xcf files as well as the .jpg ones so if they want a different texture, I can change it no problem. :)
