Preset question (solved)
« on: December 12, 2012, 02:31:38 pm »
The question we ask ourselves the most. One of the ultimate questions of life! Okay I'll stop being silly now...
I'm wondering, is it possible to make markings on your preset shiny or glittery? If so, then how do you make it shiny or glittery? :)

Well, if you use a glittery/shiny texture, you probably can by using this guide:

Depending on what kind of sparkle/glitter you want, I'd either go with the metallic code (for a more iridescent/shiny effect) or animated frames (for more specific individual twinkling, looks great but tedious to make).

I wish you happy sparkling! :D

I'm going for the metallic code, and it looks really good, but I can't quite figure out how to only make the markings metallic. >.< I've tried playing around with the codes but nothing I've done has worked yet.

As luck would have it, just a few days ago I ran into the same problem and eventually worked it out; I posted the code for metallic markings in this thread (I think it would be on or near the last page): http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=5665.90
