Having trouble pasting downloaded FH object files

Hey guys! I'm having trouble pasting object files to the right folder. I found a thread answering most of my questions, but when i open my downloaded object in feral heart object maker, the object is white. Please tell me how i can fix this or what i'm doing wrong, Thanks!

If what you downloaded are .object files then they must be pasted into your "objects" folder instead of my_objects. When you open Feralheart you will see the object group in either Map or Object Maker.

Some downloaded mesh's don't actually come with a texture/material and you may need to make or add one to it yourself through Object Maker. Would you mind telling me which objects you downloaded?

Thank you sooo much! um i was just downloading random meshes and downloaded a set of african animals (they came together in one download) including zebra, elephant, rhino, jaguar. A gahoole tree mesh, and a house. I think most of the three i downloaded from ' Thierry Stuff ' if that helps. Thank you so much, i'll look at the tutorial from the link.

I've downloaded those meshes and they came with textures, hopefully if you install it correctly the textures should show

Again, thanks so much. I only have one more question. When you extract and put the files into the 'my-objects' file, is that where texture and material files go to?
