It seems like 1/4 mesh packs I download are causing problems of some sort with FH.
When I restart the game so I can look at them and use them, it automatically crashes before I can even get to the first slide upon startup. My solution used to be to copy all my important files [exports, objects, materials, etc.] into temporary folders, uninstall FH, re-install FH, and paste them into the new folders- it would run fine.
This time, while installing Drek's big mesh pack, it started the automatic crashing again, so I tried what I always did, but it didn't work. It just keeps on crashing.
My vocabulary of technology isn't the best, apologies for that... But can anyone help? No error message, just automatic crash.

Since drek's mesh pack has particles i guess you exported your objects groups or map using these objects.

When you export the objects or maps, the particles goes duplicated causing the game to crash on the next restart. This is a common game glitch, and my sugestion is to uses the search assistant to search all the recently created particles, and to delete them. usually they have a name ending by _0 _1 _2 ...

Be careful because the game also crash if you delete the used game particles.

To sum up Thierry's instructions (smart floffeh) open up the FH files and click media then  particles and delete anything ending in _0 or _1
