I need some map help. Again.
« on: February 23, 2013, 10:59:17 pm »
Welp. I'm tring to make a map, and I want like a bit of a "cape" or "gulf" there. I want a way for the water to go smoothly, not just drop off the edge. Do I just blur it, or what? o-o

Blurring and smudging both work well.
It's very simple.~ Hope it helps.~

Would it work if I used a lighter color?

Yes, it would also if you do that. Sometimes if you use multiple shades, lighter each time, and blur it in, it works even better than simply blurry. Otherwise its still a sorta steep incline.
