Can someone help me?

Okay,so...
It has been a lot of time since I last palyed FeralHeart,but now I have a new computer and I downloaded FH.
It was all going good,but then I downloaded the patch ((An Update From V1.09 to V1.13)).
At first when I still didn't dowanload the patch the game opened properly.
But when I downloaded the patch I opened it and what it says now is '' Feralheart.exe is not working. Windows checking for a solution to the problem..." After a second or two, another window pops up saying: "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close and notify you if a solution is available."

I saw that someone said I could change the Rendering Subsystem from ''OpenGL'' to ''Direct3D'' ... but the problem is,that I DON'T have that option. I can only stay with OpenGl ):

What can I do?D:
I also tried downloading the torrent,but since this is windows 8 I still don't get it very good..

I think you should probably uninstall the game and re-download it. And make sure to download "FeralHeart Patch" and "FH Set Up"

Another thing, you can change your rendering system by going into the main Feral Heart folder and opening up the ogre.cfg file with the Notepad.
You should see something like this:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600

FSAA=None
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour

Change the Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem so that it says Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem

If oh are wanting to change your rendering system. Go into your ogre cfg file and change that in notepad when click on the top part and it should be changed to this.

Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]

Also just pointing this out there, please don't use unnecessary polls in a help trend as they are really unneeded for this
