Cats of the Code ~Mapped

Cats of the Code

CotC is a Warriors fan role-play that has a private map made by our very own ZarrieSaysRawr. We are realistic, literate, active, and long-termed. Activities and updates are given on the site, http://cats-of-the-code.proboards.com/, as well as all our other information.

Here at CotC, we are not your average Warrior cat role-play. Now, I know you have probably heard that often, and it might not always end well, but I urge you to see what all we have changed. Looking at our site and reading the What to Expect thread is a good way. But, for starters, let me explain some things.

    Realism
So, as the argument often goes, "Warrior cat role-plays aren't realistic, even when they say they are." Unfortunately, I've known this to be true, but in CotC, we really are realistic. In fact, most of the changes we have made were done in the desire to make us more so.
  • Characters are preferred to look like real cats, though, we do make the proper exceptions.
  • Real herbs have been added to the original list.
  • Names are encouraged to match a Clan, though, are not limited to that. They simply must be of the natural world.
  • And many more things that can be seen on the site!

    Literacy
Yes, we really are literate. Detail and an expounded vocabulary are encouraged, though, we do not limit members to that. Semi-literate members willing and eager to better their literacy skills are welcomed into the role-play. We offer Role-Play classes on-site, not just for the CotC members, but for anyone of any literacy willing to learn. People with grammar and spelling hindrances such as dyslexia and those whose first language isn't English are also welcome to come join us.

    Plots
In CotC we conduct plot-lines. Although, members are not required to have their characters controlled by these plots and are welcomed and encouraged to make their own mini-plots; be it just their character, or a group of willing friends. When a plot is formed, the Staff strive to make sure it is basic and broad, including all three of our Clans and never effecting or revolving around just one individual.

Other Things You May Want to Know
As stated above, there are three Clans.
  • Pebbleclan; stern, dark pelted cats that live in the mountains and prefer their own advice over the other two Clans.
  • Gladeclan; calm, wise, and levelheaded felines with slender bodies that live in a meadow like terrain among some trees.
  • Brushclan; vain and prideful cats coming an array of colors that adorn their small bodies which are great for climbing the trees that lay in their territory.
Anyone is welcome to come look at our site and join us! Feel free to find FairyRing or ZarrieSaysRawr in FeralHeart or simply fill out the joining form on the site. We hope to see y'all there!

Oh, also, feed-back on what people think about CotC as well as this advertisement is desired. I really want to know what people think; good or bad. Just remember to be mature about it, please. <3
